So what is a typical National Final’s Week like for the girls? Well, why don’t you take a tour of our little “diary” below from the week and
you’ll get an idea...
MONDAY 11TH MARCH All finalists arrive to Surfers Paradise and check in to the Islander Resort. Monday night sees a briefing of the finalists and
a welcome party at Vegas in Paradise.
TUESDAY 12TH MARCH A huge and fun day at Dreamworld with plenty of rides and
attractions while at the same time meeting the media. Tuesday night was spent singing Karaoke and partying at the Gold Coast Brew Pub! Click here for pics!
WEDNESDAY 13TH MARCH First rehearsal in the morning. Free afternoon. Another fun
night spent at the Gold Coast Brewpub. Click here for pics!
THURSDAY 14TH MARCH An early wake up call for two of the girls as they had an
interview on the Radio Metro breakfast show. First rehearsal on the actual stage by the resort pool in the morning. Dropped in to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not in the afternoon. Huge night at Shooters Saloon Bar for
the Finch Swimwear preview judging! Click here for pics!
FRIDAY 15TH MARCH Further rehearsals on stage in the morning. In the afternoon,
the girls visited the incredible Infinity and got invited to lunch by the guys at Cafe Renaissance. After lunch it was off to the Sling Shot, Banzai Bungee and the Fly Coaster! Friday night saw the girls invited to
a private function hosted by Tom Tate at the Outrigger Cafe! Click
here for pics!
SATURDAY 16TH MARCH Showtime! The National Final kicks off at 1pm and the Islander Resort is pumping! The afterparty at the Clubhouse Sports Bar ran into the early
hours of Sunday morning... Click here for pics!
SUNDAY 17TH MARCH Many of the people that experienced the Pool Party Of The Year
and the official afterparty were nursing headaches on the Sunday and opting for sleep inns. However, this did not apply to the brand new Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia... Rebecca was treated to breakfast in bed
and she was joined by that extrenely lucky fellow who won an opportunity to share breakfast with Bec through a competition held by Radio Metro. This was followed by photoshoots and media interviews. No rest for the
wicked (or the successful)... Click here for pics!
