MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 1992 -
DANIELLE MOORE

Gold Coast based model Danielle Moore was only 17 years old when she impressed the judges at the first ever Australian Final and walked away with the title and a trip to the World Finals - then held in Daytona Beach, Florida. The 1992 Australian final was held at Fisherman's Wharf and started a popular tradition which survived until 1995 when the much liked venue was targeted for demolition to make way for a new development.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 1993 -
TONIA LEE

Tonia Lee made a lasting impression at the 1993 Australian Finals. The 20 year old stunner put on a crowd pleasing routine which also impressed the judges enough to award her the National Title. Tonia went on to capture a fourth runner-up placing in the
World Finals at Daytona Beach the following month. The success and exposure she enjoyed through her association led to many great career opportunities and she has appeared in numerous television ads and magazine features.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 1994 -
ALLISON CAMPBELL

Allison Campbell , representing Melbas Nightclub in Surfers Paradise beat a record number of finalists in the 1994 Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia Final and walked away with an incredible prize pool including the all-expenses paid trip to the World Finals. Allison proved to be a verypopular subject for the many photographers, TV and film crews in Florida. She met Renegade star Lorenzo Lamas and action star Don Swayze (yes - Patrick's brother)!

APRIL ZEKULICH

The 1995 National Final belonged to nineteen year old model April Zekulich representing Club Marina's at Mandurah, WA. April captured the judge's attention with her statuesque body and winning smile. April has enjoyed great success following her reign as Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia with an appearance in the International Swimsuit Calendar. No, she wasn't Miss April - she was Miss February

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 1996 -
WENDY RIHA

Life for Wendy Riha after winning the 1996 Miss HT Australia Title wasnever going to be the same. Wendy only made it into the National Finals one week before they were on by first winning the Miss Summergirl Title organised by Radio 97 on the Tweed Coast. Not surprisingly, her vivacious nature and stylish looks impressedthe judges at the World Finals and Wendy became the second Australian finalist to make it into the top five. The Sunshine Coast stunner was also invited to join the Hawaiian  Tropic Promo Team and immediately found herself on a plane bound for the world's richest horse racing event in Dubai. This was followed by snowskiing at the glamorous resort of Aspen, Colorado.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 1997 -
BRIDGETTE LOWRY

In 1997 the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia Pageant had to forgo the unique surroundings of Fisherman's Wharf as the venuefor the National Finals because is was to be demolished. The event quickly found a new home at Billy's Beach House right on the spectacular Surfers Paradise Beach. The breathtaking line-up of finalists did not intimidate nineteen year old Bridgette Lowry, representingThe Glasshouse Nightclub all the way from Darwin in the Northern Territory.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 1998 -
RACHEL BRETTEL-EVANS

Dancer and model Rachel Brettel-Evans displayed an unbeatable combination of energy, talent and beauty to capture the 1997 title. Rachel was 23 years old and represented Kokoz Nightclub, Broadbeach, QLD. When she is not winning Miss HT pageants, Rachel works at the Warner Bros. Movieworld theme park as a performer.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 1999 -
MAREA LAMBERT-BARKER

The headturning looks and friendly personality of Uni student and part-time shop assistantMarea Lambert- Barker resulted in her winningnot only the Miss HT Australia title but also the Miss Personality prize. This category is voted by the finalists themselves and it was the first time ever that the same girlwalked away with both the  National Title and the Personality award. Marea is 19 and she represented The Stadium Nightclub in Rockhampton, QLD.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 2000 -
DANIELLE FYFE

The deafening roar that came from the large crowd at the Year 2000 National Finals left no one in doubt - Danielle Fyfe was the obvious crowd favourite. But this alone is not enough to win the title . She still had to impress the judges as well. And boy, did she ever! This 22 year old blonde bombshell delivered s spectacular performance that left everyone at the Islander Resort breathless. Danielle soon emerged as a clear winner and represented Australia at the World Finals in Las Vegas in April 2000. Danielle is 5'7'', has brown eyes, blonde hair and her starsign is a Taurus.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 2001 -
MICHELLE BARTOLI

The crowd at the 2001 National Final thought they had seen it all and then the last girl out takes to the stage and the place erupts! The smouldering looks of brunette Melbournian model Michelle Bartoli left a lasting impression on everyone around the pool at the Islander Resort, including the judges! Michelle represented Inflation Nightclub, Melbourne and only minutes after winning the prestigious title, she was on the mobile phone telling her club she had won! She had a ball at the World Finals in Las Vegas and even filmed a segment for the Jay Leno show on US network CBS.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 2002 -
REBECCA RANCLAUD

It was a case of third time lucky for this vivacious blonde crowd pleaser from Newcastle when she finally captured the National Title at the 2002 National Final. Her highest placing to date was coming second runner-up in 2001. This time around twenty year old Rebecca Ranclaud was sponsored by the Club House Sports Bar in Surfers Paradise. Rebecca has made a number of appearances in Ralph magazine as well as being featured in both print and TV advertising. She was also featured in the 2001 Australian Swimsuit Calendar..

ZARA MILICH

It was a happy time for stunning model Zara Milich , 20, as she won the coveted title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia 2003. Zara was still in a state of shock on Sunday morning as representatives from the media surprised her with a champagne breakfast in bed. Zara was sponsored by the Players Sports Bar in Ipswich. She 5”6 with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is a cheerleader and student and her interests include car racing, wake boarding and dancing.

NARELLE MINCHIN

Narelle Minchin, representing Top End Hotel in Darwin beat 22 finalists in the 2004 Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia Final and walked away with an incredible prize pool including the all-expenses paid trip to the World Finals in Las Vegas. Narelle proved to be a very popular subject for the many photographers, TV and film crews in Las Vegas. And she won Miss Photogenic not only here in Australia, but also in USA against 88 other finalists from the world.

MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC AUSTRALIA 2005 -
ALESHA KELLY

It was a case of second time lucky for stunning brunette Alesha Kelly, 20, representing The Vibe Nightclub in Rockingham, Western Australia when she beat 22 of the nation’s top up-and-coming bikini models for the coveted title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia 2005 at the National Final. Alesha was also a finalist in 2003 and came very close to winning the coveted title, but had to settle for the position of first runner up with only a few points separating her from Zara Milich.

Alesha did extremely well at the International Finals in Las Vegas - she was announced as first runner-up, beating almost 100 top bikini models from around the world. Click here for photos from the World Finals!

RACHAEL DONALD

Twenty five year old blonde bombshell Rachael Donald from Hotel LA, Brisbane, QLD, beat 22 of the nation’s top up-and-coming bikini models for the coveted title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia 2006 at the National Final held in Surfers Paradise on Saturday afternoon (18th March).Rachael is 166cm tall with blonde hair and green eyes. Racheal is a fashion designer and business student. Her interests include travel, camping, snow skiing and fishing.

MELISSA KELLY

Eighteen year old dental assistant and first time pageant entrant Melissa Kelly from Browns Plains, QLD, “outstrutted” 22 of the nation’s top up-and-coming bikini models for the coveted title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia 2007.

Melissa is 168cm tall with blonde hair and brown eyes and she currently works as a dental assistant. Her role model is Angelina Jolie as she proves that beauty and intelligence can go hand in hand.
